This 2008 Ford Shelby GT500 Super Snake coupe shows just1049 miles from new and is powered by a 725-horsepower supercharged 5.4-liter V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission. The car is #26 built for 2008 and was modified with Shelby's Super Snake package, which included a larger Kenne Bell supercharger, an aluminum driveshaft, upgraded suspension components, forged 20? Shelby wheels, a Super Snake hood, carbon-fiber aerodynamic and styling elements, and Super Snake badging.
The supercharged 5.4-liter V8 received the 725-horsepower Shelby Super Snake conversion, including a Kenne Bell supercharger, an upgraded air intake, and Shelby-branded accessories. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission and a live rear axle with a 3.73:1 differential.
Forged 20? Super Snake wheels are fitted with Pirelli tires showing. Braking is handled by six-piston Shelby calipers at the front, with vented and cross-drilled rotors at all four corners. Super Snakes also received adjustable shocks, stiffer springs, and larger anti-roll bars than those used on the standard GT500.
The bodywork is finished in Vista Blue Clearcoat Metallic with factory black over-the-top racing stripes and matching Super Snake side stripes. The car is equipped with a carbon-fiber front splitter, carbon-fiber rocker-panel trim, and carbon-fiber mirror caps, as well as dual exhaust outlets, a rear decklid spoiler, a Super Snake hood with functional scoop, Shelby badging, side scoops, and rear quarter-window scoops.
The cabin is upholstered in black leather and features Super Snake embroidery on the headrests and center armrests, with embossed Cobra logos on the front-seat backrests. Factory instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm SVT tachometer, and a quartet of auxiliary gauges in the main cluster, with Super Snake�specific gauges for boost, fuel pressure, and oil pressure positioned in a pod atop the dash. A dashboard plaque identifies the car as a Super Snake, noting the individual Shelby Automobiles CSM number, which is also shown on an included certificate of authenticity. The car retains its Shaker 1000 stereo system, literature from Shelby and factory. The original glass with original window sticker attached was removed to preserve authenticity. A factory replacement window was installed.

We are also strong in the racing heritage and names such as Lingenfelter and Ray Barton, Richard Petty and Bobby Allison are legends and at LRA we’ll make sure those legends will never die.
