"Cruisin Classics is pleased to present this beautiful, low-miles 2005 Ford Thunderbird 50th Anniversary Cashmere Edition! Only 1,500 of these special editions were made and this particular car is number 205. This sporty roadster comes to us today dressed in it's original coat of Cashmere factory paint that is still in excellent condition with only a few miniscule imperfections from having been driven. This Thunderbird certainly hasn't been driven much though, as the scant 18,983 actual miles on the odometer and the immaculate condition of the whole car will attest! The front end of the car harkens back to the look of the 1955 T-Bird with a modest hood scoop, round headlights, and a low front grille. Just above that body-color grille is a gleaming chrome and turquoise Thunderbird emblem that adds just the right touch. While most all of the exterior is covered in glossy Cashmere paint, there are some well placed bright accents to add some extra flair. There is a chrome band surrounding the windshield, bright 50th Anniversary badges on the fenders, a chrome accent on the hood scoop, bright ""Thunderbird"" script emblems on the rear quarters, chrome trim around the porthole windows on the removable hard-top, and chrome-clad aluminum alloy factory wheels. Just like the early T-Birds, this car comes with both a power convertible soft-top (medium-gray) and a removable hard-top. The hard-top does require 2 people to remove, as it weighs 90 lbs, and it comes with a folding storage stand which is currently in the trunk. The hard-top comes equipped with rear defrost and a tight fabric headliner. Around back you'll find round tail lights that emulate the headlight style, a Thunderbird emblem just like the one up front, and dual chrome exhaust tips backed up by newer mufflers.
Under the hood is a 3.9 liter V-8 that puts out 280hp and 286 ft/lb of torque � making this one quick little roadster. The engine compartment is impeccably clean � it looks like it just rolled off the production line! The V-8 is mated up to a 5-speed automatic transmission with a manual shifting option and rear-wheel drive. Stopping power comes from 4-wheel power disc brakes.
Open the drivers' door to reveal a luxurious interior done in light gray, dark gray, cashmere, and chrome. The cashmere-colored leather-trimmed bucket seats with embossed Anniversary logos are power-adjustable, heated, and in very good condition. The driver is treated to a leather-wrapped steering wheel with cruise and radio controls that's on an electronic tilt & telescopic column. Creature-comforts and power options abound with power locks, mirrors,and windows, dual-zone climate controls with cold A/C, color-keyed instrument cluster with turquoise gauge needles, keyless entry, security alarm system, driver's message center, Homelink garage door opener system, traction control, dual airbags, color-keyed shift knob, and 2 cupholders. Drivers who enjoy their cruisin' music will love the AM/FM stereo radio with in-dash 6-disc CD changer and a premium Audiophile sound system with dual amps for the rear speakers. Underfoot are carpeted factory floormats and light-colored carpet. We did note a faint stain on the passenger side carpet to the right of the mat. Back in the carpeted trunk you'll find a padded Cashmere boot cover, the afore-mentioned hard-top stand, and four copies of a cool promotional poster celebrating the new Thunderbirds.
