This 2002 Ford Thunderbird Convertible has all of the comforts of a modern automobile, with the tasteful flash of a true classic. After Ford took a 5 year hiatus producing Thunderbirds starting in 1997, they eventually came back with the quasi-retro look of these 11th generation T-Birds. The 2002 Thunderbirds were highly acclaimed by critics in their day since Ford got back to Thunderbird's roots in its latest iteration. This particular '02 T-Bird comes to us out of Florida, where it is believed to have spent its entire life from new. Under the hood is the standard 3.9 Liter Ford V8 Engine, mated to a 5 Speed Automatic Transmission with Overdrive. Startup is really easy on this neo-classic with Electronic Fuel Injection and 12 volt electrical. These Thunderbirds also came fully loaded, with Power Steering, 4-wheel Power Disc Brakes, Power Windows, Power Seats, Power Door Locks, Cruise Control, Cup Holders, Anti-Theft System, Intermittent Wipers, and much more. This Thunderbird was also just re-painted and features brand new Torch Red exterior paint. The wheels are Aluminum with the Thunderbird logo, and have 235/50ZR17 Radial Tires. The black cloth power convertible top has a glass back window with defroster and it goes up and down easily with the simple push of a button. The red and black interior matches the exterior look of the car. This Thunderbird features a stock AM/FM/6 CD Changer entertainment system, so that you can listen to all of your tunes while cruising down the road.
