"Cruisin Classics is pleased to present to you this 2001 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28. At first glance, this Z/28 looks like any other well-kept low-mileage Camaro with a set of Z06 Corvette wheels - but it is way more than meets the eye! The most recent owner of this car took it to the track shortly before bringing it to us and ran a 10.80 second quarter mile this is one serious sleeper! This Camaro comes to us dressed in factory Navy Blue Metallic paint that still looks fantastic, with only very small imperfections from light use. Up front are a set of crystal clear headlamps, recessed fog lamps, and a low-slung black grille with a Chevy bowtie at the center. Both fenders wear discreet black Z/28 badges just above the body side molding. The dual side mirrors are both color-keyed and so are the door handles. Up top are locking glass T-tops, a black halo-band, and dark tinted windows including the long sloping hatchback glass. The hatchback features an integrated rear spoiler that gives the rear of the car a sporty look. Beneath the hatchback are another Z/28 badge, a red bowtie, indented CAMARO lettering, a body-color rear bumper, and a bright set of SLP exhaust tips. Completing the cool exterior look are the aforementioned Corvette Z06 wheels all wrapped in Continental Extreme Contact Sport tires.
As soon as you lift the hood you'll see that this is no longer a stock '01 Z/28. Modifications abound, but we have no receipts for parts and no receipts for work done. Consequently, the engine details are merely what we've been told by the person who bought it from the person who owned it when these modifications were made. That said, this is an exceptionally quick car that appears very professionally built and we have no reason to doubt the internal mods that we can't see. The engine is a 5.7 liter LS1 with a Dart crankshaft, Molnar Power Adder Plus rods, Diamond pistons, 220 Trickflow aluminum racing heads, and a Stage 3 cam. The ""go-fast"" mods don't stop there though, this Camaro is equipped with a wet Nitrous system with nitrous and fuel going into a Big Mouth 92mm Fast Corvette throttle body. Other engine highlights include a Corvette intake manifold, a KNN air filter with SLP intake, a Mighty Mouse catch can, and 1 7/8"" Kooks headers that lead back to a full SLP exhaust including mufflers. The engine is mated to a built automatic racing transmission with a 2700 stall speed and 3 transmission coolers. Power flows to the rear with a Dana 60 rear end with 3.73:1 gears and Strange spools. Stopping power comes from a brand new set of 4-wheel disc racing brakes with drilled and slotted rotors up front. The ABS system that came stock on the car has been deleted as part of the set-up on the car for drag racing. Take a peek under the car and find that this Z/28 has been upgraded with UMI Performance drag racing suspension and frame supports, struts and shocks, and panhard bar.
Open the drivers door to find an exceptionally clean grey and black stock interior illuminated by a working courtesy light. The door panels are a mix of black vinyl and seat-matching fabric with speakers mounted low and forward. The drivers side features power window, lock, and mirror controls that all work as they should. The Medium Grey cloth bucket seats are in fantastic condition and the drivers seat features power adjustable controls. Between the seats is a center console with an armrest/storage box, cup-holder, ashtray, and both a leather-wrapped shifter for the transmission and a leather-wrapped e-brake lever. Ahead of the driver is a leather-wrapped steering wheel with an airbag and inop. stereo controls on a tilt column. Also on the column are controls for the intermittent wipers and cruise control (we have not tested the cruise). The steering wheel frames an arching gauge cluster that includes gauges for water temp, oil, battery, and fuel as well as a 7K tachometer and a 155mph speedo. The odometer reads only 34,101 miles and the title confirms that low mileage to be actual! On the cluster there are several lights on in relation to the modifications that have taken place ABS INOP, BRAKE, and ASR OFF. Mounted to the upper right of the cluster is an Aero Force OBDII gauge that provides all of the performance details and information coming from the engine a very helpful addition in a car such as this. The center-dash is home to an aftermarket Retrosound AM/FM stereo and the easy-to-use climate controls that pump out cold A/C and hot heat with a very strong fan. Ahead of the passenger is simply an airbag in the dash and a glovebox that contains a USA Spec ipod to GM interface for the stereo. Overhead you'll find a tight grey cloth headliner and the T-tops with sunshades while underfoot is nice grey factory carpet with carpeted floormats. The rear seat consists of a fold-down bench back with bucket bottoms. Between the rear seats on the tunnel hump is a big blue cannister of Nitrous. The hatchback features T-top holder brackets, a flip down cargo cover, and a couple of 6X9 speakers.
This Camaro Z/28 is the best of both worlds a loaded low-mileage good-looking classic in excellent condition and an absolute beast that you can take to the track on weekends and blow away cars that have no idea what they're up against! If you like rowdy cars but also enjoy power options and creature comforts you're going to love this ride! To top it all off, this isn't some backyard project someone spent a bundle of cash to take an already cool Z/28 to an entirely different realm of performance. Give our friendly staff a call and make this awesome car your own today!

Here at Cruisin Classics, we understand that you have many options when choosing where you purchase your classic, muscle or collector car and we would like to thank you for considering us.
Cruisin Classics has been buying and selling cars for many years.. The majority were your average daily drivers but our passion has always been in muscle cars and hot rods so in 1996, Cruisin Classics built a 56,000 sq.ft. showroom located in Columbus, OH that they still operate out of today. All of our vehicles are hand-picked and selected to ensure they fit our inventory. This facility is now arguably one of the best-stocked collections for sale in the US housing hundreds of unique automobiles all under one roof. We invite you to our facility! There is something for everybody when you come to visit.
After years of serving as central Ohio's premiere classic car dealer at Cruisin Classics Auto Sales, we saw an unfulfilled need that was not being met for our clients. We loved helping match our clients with the classic and American muscle cars of their dreams. But what about after the purchase? We recognized that our clients needed a trusted resource to continue to care for their classic vehicles. It did not sit well with us that our valued clients and their incredible vehicles were being outsourced to, sometimes several, third-party resources for maintenance and performance needs. We also wanted to help the many people that we had met over the years who already owned classic vehicles which were in need of restoration, upgrades, and maintenance. Too often, we were seeing vehicles with so much potential left sitting in garages under covers because their owners did not know who to turn to for such specialized work. It is our goal to offer our clients a truly comprehensive, seamless, and enjoyable classic car ownership experience, from purchase to maintenance to storage. Thus, Cruisin Classics Performance Center was born. We have cherry-picked the most talented, experienced, and passionate team of technicians to offer our clients a true one-stop-shop solution for any and all of their classic car needs. Our honest business model has lasted almost 25 years to date and Cruisin Classics has a worldwide reputation as one of the best in the business.
Outside of the shop, this business has afforded us the opportunity to be actively involved in our community and fulfill our goal of supporting several local and national organizations that hold a special place in our hearts. We are proud sponsors of the Kiwanis Club of Columbus, the Columbus USO, Honor Flight, Special Olympics, multiple car clubs, and much more.
In conclusion, 100% customer satisfaction is our main goal. Always has been.. always will be. We would like to invite anyone considering one of our vehicles to come to our beautiful facility to inspect the car in person or send somebody on your behalf.
