Super Sport Camaros have always been a favorite of muscle car enthusiasts, and the 2001 did not disappoint!
The LS1 5.7-Liter V8 engine is a legitimate powerhouse and with final touches from SLP (Street Legal Performance) it dominated the scene. This example has just 52,826 on the 6-digit digital odometer and is as close to ""like new"" as we've seen! This is an adult owned, garage kept, and well cared for example of a Fourth Generation Camaro that is sure to impress even the toughest Camaro critic.
The exterior is Bright Red with chrome wheels, high-level rear spoiler, composite ram air hood, and SS emblems to set it apart from the Z28 of the day.
SLP took the already stout muscle car a step further with the above-mentioned exterior components, SLP exhaust system, high performance ride and handling suspension, 4-wheel power disc brakes with ABS, and more. The engine was massaged to produce 325 horsepower and 345 lb ft of torque and 0-60 was accomplished in 5.5 seconds with a quarter mile time of 13.8 seconds at 107 miles per hour. That puts it right there with the 2001 Corvette 0-60 time of 5.3 seconds!
