Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa
351 30th Street NE
Ruskin, FL 33570
Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to digitally present this rare 1998 Camaro Z/28 Convertible. 98 was the first year for what would become the legendary 5.7 305hp LS1 engine. Before bringing this beauty to us, the consigner went to great lengths ensuring the Z/28 was good to go. All fluids were flushed out, new tires were installed, and the a/c compressor was replaced. The LS1 is bone stock except for an SLP cold air induction. So what makes this Camaro so special? THE COLOR. Only 72 Sport Gold Metallic (63U) Z/28 convertibles were made in in 98. During a twenty seven year period, it would stand to reason some of the 71 others are no longer on the road. Without question, this is a future collectible Camaro that is beautiful in the sunlight! Come and see for yourself.
