"1994 Ford Mustang GT Convertible
For some of us, the thought that 1994 was thirty years ago is a bit surreal. And 1994 year models don't seem all that old. We remember well when Ford's fourth generation of Mustang was revealed with new body work based on the Foxbody but utilizing the New Edge styling that included new contouring, wheel arches, and body creases. In our eyes, they are still modern cars despite the Mustang being in its eighth generation.
For consignment, a 1994 Ford Mustang GT convertible with a number of go fast and turn tight modifications that these cars accommodate so well and make them a common platform for alterations. The aftermarket and enthusiast world for Mustangs is huge, rendering them as perhaps the most resource rich model in the American automotive scene.
Note: Due to modifications of the emissions control devices installed by the manufacturer, please check your local, state, and federal laws to determine if this vehicle is applicable for use on public highways in your area

Exterior
Can't go wrong with a glistening Black Mustang, and this one sports a '98 Cobra front bumper cover and hood which hints at the capability under it. The Saleen side scoop on the rear quarter panel also looks a bit hi-po and the 347 badges on the front are definitely a tell. The rear has angle cut exhaust tips and horizontal sectional tail lights under a sizable wing. 17-inch polished American Racing Torque Thrust wheels wear 45 series tires and fill the wheel openings well and present cleanly. With the top down, a Saleen speedster hard cover combines with the light bar and steeply raked windshield to create an attractive profile, sporty and finished. A black canvas top is in good condition and its glass window includes defogger. Imperfections include a ding by the gas cap and some scuffs on the chin.
Interior
Molded black textured plastic makes up the door panels which also have a vinyl insert and tidy oval features. Corbeau leather racing seats, buckets of course, are up front and appear in nice condition with supportive side bolsters and a hard plastic rear shell. The rear seats have been deleted and in their place is a cloth covered shelf. The stock steering wheel leads to now white faced gauges on the dash and a large Phantom tachometer with shift light rides the A-pillar in sight of the competition. On top of the dash, an auxiliary pod contains water temp and oil pressure gauges while the center stack houses climate controls and a Kenwood AM/FM/CD radio with AUX and USB. Wrapped in a black leather boot, the shifter rises high from the center console and low pile black carpet covers the floor protected by carpeted mats that have taken the brunt of usage.
Drivetrain
A dressy and impressive looking powerplant lurks under the hood. Clean and shining with chrome is a custom built 347ci stroker engine that our consignor states generates more than 500 horsepower. It features a Dart 4 bolt main block, a Callies crank, Crower rods, JE pistons, aluminum heads, and MSD ignition. It receives fuel through a FiTech EFI system over an Edelbrock dual quad intake. The T5 transmission has been built by Hanlon Motorsports and this 5-speed manual sends power to the 8.8"" rear with 3.73 TracLoc gears in a Moser axles. Yeah, she's built! Meanwhile, power disc brakes are found front and rear. Adjustable Hotchkis shocks are also present as are headers in a spotless show worthy engine bay.
Undercarriage
More performance goodness underneath as the standard coil spring front and a 4 link with coil springs rear includes Eibach lowering coil springs and South Side upper and lower control arms. The dual exhaust finds a pair of Flowmaster mufflers and then heads to the back. No catalytic converters are present, but an aluminum driveshaft is. Aside from some typical and harmless surface rust, the underside is clean and dry.
Drive-Ability
The 347 cuber bellows to life as we roll this racer onto the test loop where it's immediately obvious that things have improved over stock. It handles better, moves faster, sounds louder, and of course, the seats are on point! While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase. Be that as it may, there are a few things not working. That includes the speedometer, the tachometer, the odometer, power locks and power mirrors. The A/C has been removed.
A black stallion that has some definite giddy up and some tasteful exterior modifications that hint at its steroid infusion. This is an attractive and capable car that will romp on the streets, (legally and safely, of course), and perhaps be a contender at the strip. Now you can compete with Cobras, even look like them, at a fraction of the cost! Grab your phone and then grab the reins of this built thoroughbred.
