Exterior
If you love earth tones, you're going to love the Dark Autumnwood Metallic coverage on this long bed wonderfully applied by workers at the Pontiac, Michigan assembly plant in two stages, base and clear.� This post squarebody era beauty is still full of right angles and a grille that bows out ever so slightly, taking in composite headlights over the twin shaped marker lights stacked below.� Tow hooks mean business and a chin spoiler gives a nice finishing touch rather than an aerodynamic advantage.� The slab sided truck wears flush door handles and rocker trim the rides over the wheel openings breaking up the brown just enough to create visual interest.� 16-inch wheels are wrapped in 75 series tires, all helping increase ground clearance, and a clean, hinged hard tonneau sits behind the rear sliding window, covering a clean bed with plastic liner in place.� Two areas of small scratches are the only imperfections we note on the exterior.�
Interior
Tan and beige velour door panels surround a switch panel and door opener, while a carpeted storage bin occupies a good bit of the lower door, and are in mint condition. �The same goes for the cloth bucket seats where tan and beige once again work together to create a handsome interior, and a plastic center console has storage and cupholders. �The common four spoke Chevrolet steering wheel is clean and leads to our fantastic analogue instrument cluster with orange needled dials for everything.� To the right is the climate control panel and radio integrated into the brown backing and with digital readout screens, green illuminated digits and all!� A period cassette player and CD player are also on board, so you have your choice of vintage music platforms. �The Chevrolet is column shifted but the range selector is on the floor which is covered in tan carpet in pristine condition which is how we find the felt headliner as well.�
Drivetrain
As if we've transported to 1994, the spotless engine bay holds the 350ci V8, fuel injected and rated at 200 horsepower, mated to a 700R4 4-speed automatic that initially sends power both the front and rear axles fitted with 3.73 gears.� Power brakes are here too, with front discs and rear drums.��
Undercarriage
It's dirt and oil free underneath but there is a decent amount of surface rust on untreated metals which as we know, will grow on a parked, garaged vehicle here on the East coast.� It's prevalent here but the underside is free of invasive rust of any kind.� The exhaust goes from single pipe to a 1 to 2 FlowMaster muffler, then runs tandem to the back, splitting at the spare tire, and exiting as dual pipe split wide.� Coil springs suspension is up front and leaf springs in the back.

Drive-Ability
We step up to this brown beauty and turn the key to send fuel to the throttle body injection and into the 8 cans, and the result is a nice exhaust tone. �Into Drive we go and roll this 4x4 onto our relatively flat and dry test loop where we won't need the extra axle engaged, and the truck moves out well, delivering good power and straight tracking and big windows afford great visibility.� As such a ""young"" truck, all functional items work as they should.� While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase.
Talk about a well preserved, low mileage, one owner Silverado! Wow, this is just about showroom fresh and leaves the new owner with some options.� Use it as it was originally intended and get some dirt on it or save it for car and truck shows where this level of originality will definitely get some attention.� These were used and put away wet, but this one never clocked in to work and has been on vacation for nearly 31 years.� Just waiting for a Prince Charming to wake it from its slumber and bring it to the ball.� Ready to dance?
