Survivor Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to present this very clean 1991 Pontiac Firebird Formula 350. Packing a healthy L98 350 cubic inch small block Chevy V8 under the hood rated at 240 horsepower, this Formula can boogie! The gears are shifted automatically by a 700R4 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission tot eh 10-bolt rear axle with 3.23 gears and a limited slip differential. Finally, the 17""x8"" Snowflake replica rims from Year One spin the Riken Raptor tires sending you right on down the road in style.
This Formula 350 is notable in that is is one of only 1,282 made for the '91 model year. It was optioned with the beautiful Polo Green paint, and has been repainted one time in the original color. While Polo Green is usually paired with the tan cloth interior, this Firebird was manufactured with the far less common gray cloth interior. Additionally, it was manufactured with the coveted WS6 suspension package, meaning this Firebird can take corners as good as it looks!
While mostly original, the exhaust system has been upgraded. The original catalytic converter had failed, and a direct replacement option was not available at the time. As such, a pair of high-flow catalytic converters were fitted as part of a Magnaflow direct replacement exhaust system, and now this 'bird sounds like it breathes fire! One trip behind the wheel and you will be begging for more seat time!
