The L98 engine got a bump in HP due to the addition of a free breathing cylinder heads, a reprofiled camshaft and a less restrictive muffler package on the coupes only. Larger 17x9.5-inch wheels with meaty P275/40ZR-17 Goodyear Eagle GT "Z-Rated" tires were offered and this was the 1st car to have wheels that large.Inside, the Corvette is equipped with a range of features designed for convenience. The air conditioning system ensures a pleasant cabin environment, while the AM/FM radio and cassette tape player provide entertainment options for your journeys. The leather interior is complemented by power seats with lumbar support, allowing for optimal comfort on long drives. Those Corvettes were sold to a famous artist who put them in storage, and they were forgotten about until discovered in 2005.
