Whether going down a dirt or muddy road, up a hill, up a wall, up a mountain, or just into town, this truck does it. It has a 6.2L Detroit Diesel V8 with a 3 Speed Automatic Transmission. It's not exactly fast so I wouldn't try to break any speed records but on the bright side you're not likely to get any speeding tickets. It has aftermarket LED Headlights that can illuminate any path and it sits high enough that you'll have no issue crossing rocky terrain without harming the vehicle. Humvees have been used consistently by the military and in the case of this one, it was used by a Swat Team in Oregon and before that, the Oregon National Guard. It runs like a champ and has been kept in a garage for the majority of its life. This Humvee is and was originally the troop carrier variant. So in most cases the owner only wants to talk with ClassicCarDeals and we deal with the buyer, but there is a rare occasion where we can do a 3 Way phone Call with the owner. We and the owner are more than happy to get any and all questions and pictures that you need to make a sound decision.
