"Cruisin Classics is pleased to present this 1985 Chevrolet Corvette. This Bright Red Corvette is a perfect choice for someone who wants a two-seater sports car that offers speed, handling, and a whole host of creature comforts for a really reasonable price. This C4 has a clean CarFax that shows this car has lived its whole life here in Ohio, though a quick look underneath will tell you that it's always been a fair-weather-only vehicle. The red paint is a real head-turner, but a close inspection will show small chips and imperfections inherent with regular use. The sporty-looking front end features iconic flip-up headlights, a bright crossflags badge, and a black chin spoiler. Fender vents, black body molding, and dual body-color side mirrors add to the look from the side. This Corvette features a removable targa top with a black soft canvas covering � offering the choice of a hardtop feel or an open-air driving experience. Behind the targa top is an elongated hatchback window that allows easy access to the large rear storage compartment. At the rear of the car, you'll find a power antenna, a rear spoiler wing, and the signature round Corvette taillights. Under the rear is a full spare kit and true dual exhaust with quad tips. The cherry on top of this cool red ride are the ARE gold lace wheels wrapped in Fulda Carat Extremo tires (a German subsidiary of Goodyear) � these wheels give this Vette a look that really sets it apart from a run-of -the-mill C4.
This Corvette's hood looks bone-stock, with the center of attention being a 5.7-liter 350ci V-8 with tuned-port injection. The switch to tuned-port injection from cross-fire fuel injection (throttle body injection) was a step forward in '85, increasing power and fuel economy. Other highlights under the hood include power steering, power 4-wheel disc brakes, and factory A/C. The V-8 is mated to a smooth-shifting 700R4 automatic overdrive transmission-a perfect combination for any driving situation.
Open the driver's door and the courtesy lights pop on to illuminate a slightly customized black interior. The OEM door panels have been taken to the next level with the addition of padded panels above the armrests that sport cross-flag badging. The driver door offers not just power locks but also controls for the windshield wipers. A decorative ""CORVETTE"" sill coverplate welcomes you inside for a drive. The black leather seats have been upgraded from factory spec with the addition of diamond tufting on the seat and back surfaces and cross-flag badging on the headrests � creating a cool and unique look. The seats still retain the integrated factory lumbar controls, though they no longer work. The driver's seat is power-adjustable with controls in the center console while the passenger's seat is manually operated. Other center console features include an armrest/storage box with hatchback release, power window,w and mirror controls, a leather-wrapped shifter for the automatic transmission, and cupholders. Ahead of the driver is a leather-wrapped 2-spoke steering wheel on a tilt and telescopic column. The turn signal stalk does double-duty with controls for the cruise control. Beneath the crack-free black dash pad is a colorful digital liquid crystal gauge display that offers not just a space-age looking speedometer and tachometer but also readouts for oil pressure and temp, fuel range and trip odometer, coolant temp and voltage, and instant & average mpg readings. The odometer reads 94,032 miles and the title and CarFax back that up. In the center of the dash are controls for the HVAC system that crank out cold A/C and hot heat with a strong fan. Above those controls is a factory Delco/Bose AM/FM/Cassette stereo that is ready to play your favorite cruisin' soundtrack. On the passenger side of the dash is simply a plate with ""VETTE"" badging on it. Underfoot is a black factory carpet in good condition and overhead is a felt headliner on the targa top.
