1984 Mercedes Benz 380SL . As you may know the EURO editions are distinct for their square headlight, instead of the quad 4 round headlights setup. When I say this car is immaculate it is EXCEPTIONAL in all respects. Often this coveted by style suffers from cracked lacquer paint, missing woodgrain, split dash, missing parts etc. This car is the exception. The paint is beautiful and a mile-deep for it's quality. This has clearly been VERY well cared for and maintained. When waxed, the black finish gleams like new. No signs of any paint issues-----only minor scratches where the hardtop settles on the rear deck (typical to even the nicest of cars). All the trim is present and excellent. All the chrome brightwork is beautiful. No chipped or damaged glass. Mechanically the car is a DREAM to drive. Starts easily, no unusual odors or drive-issues. Trans shifts flawlessly thru all gears. Interior is beautiful--------no unusual odors, worn carpet or seat wear etc Triple Black is perhaps the most coveted color combo in these collector editions. The carpet is beautiful. The in-dash 'factory' Escort Radar Detector is a nice accessory. Factory radio is present and works great. AC is ice cold. Heat works fine. The only issue anywhere on this car is the soft top has a hole right in the center that will require replacement or at least a patch of some kind (see photos). Haven't been able to get it into the shop by the time of this listing. If the top is replaced the price will go up. The good news is it has it's original HARDTOP and that is in perfect shape. The real chrome wire wheels add some class along with the accessory wheel-arch trim making this a very elegant to car to own/drive etc. I would drive this car across the country tomorrow for its mechanical worthiness. As you look over the horizon of the SL series, give serious consideration to THIS incredible car. No rust. No collision. No surprises. We and the owner are more than happy to get any and all questions and pictures that you need to make a sound decision.
Is The Car Available? The inventory on our site changes all the time, so there may be a small number of cars that will be sold when you call.
