The 1982 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ43 has been meticulously frame-off restored, with just 329 miles since completion.
The FJ43 is part of the iconic FJ40 series, originally developed as a military vehicle inspired by the Jeep during the Korean War. Introduced in 1960, the FJ40 series quickly became known for its exceptional off-road capabilities.
The FJ43, launched in the late 1960s, offered a longer wheelbase than the FJ40, providing additional space for passengers and cargo. This made it a popular choice for both family and commercial use. By the early 1980s, the FJ43 retained its classic boxy design, but enhancements in comfort and reliability were introduced. The 1982 model typically featured a 4.2L inline-six engine, known for its power and rugged construction, making it a favorite among off-road enthusiasts.
This particular 1982 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ43 is finished in Royal Blue with a white leather interior and blue accents. Its powered by a 4.2L V6 engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission and a 2-speed transfer case. The restoration included Toyota parts and attention to detail, ensuring both authenticity and quality.
Highlights include:
This vehicle is a true classic, showcasing the legacy and durability of the Toyota Land Cruiser series.

Lupo Motors is a third generation automotive family. Since 1952, we have provided the Northwest with some of the most beautiful and rare vehicles on the planet along with everyday cars to get your family to their destination safely.
It all started with British Auto parts in Spokane, Washington where my grandfather provided service and parts for European cars of that era. This business quickly turned into a Land Rover dealership and it exploded from there into 48 Franchises from Maserati and Mercedes to Subaru and Volkswagen and everything in between including one of the largest retail motorcycle stores in the United States.
Opened in Boise, Idaho in 2016, the original Lupo Motors showroom began in a small shop, with an attached office space, run solely by Drake Beaudry, our founder. With quick growth, this shop filled to the brim with collector cars. In 2018, we opened up the Lupo Auto Salon for the first time in the 4th bay, and began offering detailing, ceramic coatings, and paint protection film to our clients. While no longer manned, this building is still used for vehicle storage and special projects today.
Today, our staff is all located at our newest location, 10990 W. Fairview Ave. in Boise.
Our showroom, once a local credit union, was revamped and remodeled into a beautiful space to house the highest end of our vehicles for sale. The rear building was opened in late 2021, and houses all of our departments including detail, mechanics, and the vinyl wrap shop.
