This 1979 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ43 was imported to the US in 2024 following a refurbishment that included a repaint in brown as well as refreshing the interior, which houses seats trimmed with Burberry-style upholstery. Powered by a 4.2-liter 2F inline-six linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case, the truck is equipped with 16? steel wheels, auxiliary lights, side mirrors, mud guards, side steps, a beige soft top, a heater, inward-facing seats, crank windows, and an AM radio. This FJ43 was acquired by the selling dealer in 2024 and is now offered with import documents and a clean Virginia title.
The two-door FJ43 is the medium-wheelbase version of the FJ40. This example was finished from the factory in Sicilian Olive and has since been refinished. Exterior details include a beige soft top, mud guards, side steps, auxiliary lights, side mirrors, a fold-down windshield, rear ambulance-style doors, a steel front bumper, fender-mounted turn signals, and a rear-mounted spare tire.
The 16? steel wheels are mounted with mismatched tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel drums
The 4.2-liter 2F inline-six was factory rated at 135 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. A reservoir is missing its cap.
Power is routed to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
