Gateway Classic Cars of San Antonio/Austin is proud to present this 1979 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28. The Z/28 moniker stood for "Camaro Special Performance Package." Product Promotion Engineering specialist Vince Piggins initiated the Z/28 to make Camaro a force in SCCAs Trans-American Sedan Championship series. This Z/28 is powered by a strong running 350CID V-8 engine paired with a smooth shifting automatic TH350 transmission and a B&M shifter. Under the hood has been touched up with noticeable features like polished valve covers with CHEVROLET stamped in them, QFT polished air cleaner, Edlebrock Performer intake, QuickFuel carburetor and long tube headers. The interior is a dark black on every surface and features power steering, an adjustable drivers seat, power windows and door locks, a tilt steering wheel and window tint. The body is in black and features Z/28 graphics, blacked-out front and rear window trim, fender vents, and dual exhaust outlets. The Ridler wheels feature a staggered look and a brushed lip and silver painted spokes and wear 245/40zr18 front and 275/35zr20 rear Falken radial tires, and braking is from power-assisted discs in front and drums out back. The Grant steering wheel sits Infront of instruments gauges that include a 130-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer and gauges for fuel level, battery voltage, oil pressure, and temperature. Dont miss this Camaro Z28! This beautiful machine is going to make the new owner smile from ear to ear, it could be you!
