"1978 Chevrolet Corvette L82 Pace Car Edition
This 1978 Chevrolet Corvette L82 Pace Car Edition lived in Pennsylvania and has only 391 original miles. Just 6,502 of these black and silver Corvettes were produced, each with a unique vin. Power is provided by a 350ci L82 V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and a Positraction differential. The 350ci L82 V8 is equipped with a four-barrel carburetor and an aluminum intake manifold and was factory rated at 220 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The 1978 Corvette featured a revised fastback roofline with wraparound rear glass, and all Pace Car examples were finished in two-tone black and silver with a red stripe below the blend line. Exterior equipment includes removable glass T-top roof panels, pop-up headlights, side marker lights, fender air vents, sport mirrors, and quad taillights. The 15? eight-slot alloy wheels are mounted with 255/60 Goodyear Radial GT white-letter tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel power-assisted discs. The cabin features bucket seats trimmed in silver cloth along with a color-matching dash, center console, door panels, and carpeting. Interior amenities include a power-adjustable driver's seat, an AM/FM eight-track stereo, cruise control, power windows, and a tilting steering column. The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer. Gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level are in the center stack.
This is a great car with some decent collectability, but importantly with T-tops and some of the best handling the 70's had to offer on any car produced, this is a great car to cruise on a sunny day to a car show or your favorite destination. Hello and welcome to LRA AUTO SALES. We purchased a Chevrolet Dealership almost three years ago and turned it into a Quality Pre-Owned Auto Superstore and Muscle & Classic Car Museum.
I named it LRA Enterprises Auto Museum and Auto Sales which encompasses my two son’s initials and mine. I wanted it to become a family oriented place where parents could take their sons & daughters to and show them what cars use to be like in their era and where they can purchase a car of their era. Where a husband and wife could bring their children to and link the gap of automotive history from present back to the past.
We pride ourselves in displaying some of automotive history’s greatest and most rarest cars ever built. Where names such as Corvette, Super Sport, BOSS 429, MOPAR and HEMI are common place. We are also strong in the racing heritage and names such as Lingenfelter and Ray Barton, Richard Petty and Bobby Allison are legends and at LRA we’ll make sure those legends will never die.
We offer a “one stop shop” kind of atmosphere and offer all aspects of sales, service, auto body and collision and towing. We encompass a full array of Cars and Trucks for sale from the 1950’s up to current day. We also have a Speed Shop on site, offering everything from wheels to accessories and even dyno runs for measuring horsepower.
We are located at 3114 Veterans Highway / Route 413 in Bristol PA and provide quality pre-owned cars and quality pre-owned trucks to all the surrounding areas of Bristol.
For customized driving directions, contact us today at: 215-781-3790.
Thanks for visiting our website and hope to see you soon to view over two million dollars of classic, muscle and pre-owned auto inventory
