Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom is excited to present this 1977 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 for sale. Sporting a vibrant orange metallic exterior which nicely contrasts with its sleek, black synthetic leather interior. New for 1977, the metallic orange color was also less frequently chosen than the other colors in the palette for that year, which means youre unlikely to see someone else driving one thats like yours. And not that folks are thinking about 1977 Camaros being one to create "clones" of certain models yet, rest assured the cowl tag on this one does have the Z28 designation, so its the real deal. Not only is it the real deal, but this 1977 Z/28 is better than it ever was, thanks to several efforts undertaken during its restoration. For starters, the paintwork is truly outstanding, and the shut lines and gaps line up better than GM was building these cars back then. The gaps are even, and panels were painstakingly aligned to restore this one to the type of assembled quality in fit and finish that one sees on modern robotically assembled vehicles. This bad boy was disassembled, blasted down to bare metal, and completely refinished top to bottom, including the new complete wiring harness. It even has new window felts and weatherstripping and all new decals. Not only was the exterior done that way, but the interior has a new carpet, a new dash pad, new carbon fiber-faced Dakota Digital electronic gauges, a new parcel shelf, and all new synthetic leather seating surfaces. Its practically a new 1977 Camaro Z/28, and it runs and drives better than it ever could have in 1977. Under the hood of this iconic muscle car, youll find a new Blueprint Engines 383 CID V8 engine that pumps out a massive 451 horsepower. It features Holley Sniper fuel injection, aluminum intake, aluminum heads, and coated long tube headers that flow the gases into its custom 3-inch stainless steel dual exhaust system. This powerhouse is mated to a 4-Speed manual transmission, which, with its new clutch and Hurst shifter, delivers an exhilarating and engaging driving experience that is sure to thrill car enthusiasts. The cooling system is all new, including its giant aluminum radiator, which has twin electric cooling fans. The front of the engine was dressed up with a custom serpentine accessory drive system, which features polished billet pulleys. Adding a touch of modern luxury to its vintage charm, this Camaro Z/28 features a new Vintage Air A/C system, ensuring your comfort during the summer heat. The car is further equipped with power brakes and power steering, enhancing its drivability and handling for a smooth and controlled ride. The custom OE-style aluminum wheels with their body-paint-matched centers not only look great against the orange metallic exterior, but also provide a durable and lightweight solution for optimal performance. As for safety, this classic is fitted with seatbelts and rides on fresh Continental performance radial tires for enhanced grip and stability. For your entertainment needs, this 1977 Camaro Z/28 comes with a vintage style AM/FM radio, so you can enjoy your favorite tracks while cruising down the road. This 1977 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 is not just a car, its a statement of style and performance. With its vibrant exterior, high-performance engine, and a range of functional features, its ready to deliver an unforgettable driving experience. Dont miss out on this one!
