This a solid 1973 340 Plymouth Roadrunner that requires total restoration. North Carolina car. Body, floors, truck, doors, frame, fenders, quarters, hood are good. Wears its original torch red paint. Original paint faded with areas of surface rust. Some minor surface rust on exterior panels, truck lid and small area at bottom left corner of rear window needs minor rust repair. The rear bumper is toast. The front bumper and grillle are in excellent condition. High option car, with fender tag. Engine bay retains most of its original factory hardware. Engine bay is in excellent condition. Factory black interior. Bucket seats, automatic, Sure Grip rear end. No motor, no automatic transmission. It rides on steel wheels with inflatable tires for ease of transportation. I very much hate to part with my 73 Roadrunner, life plans change. Comes with full title/ownership. No liens.
I do have a brand new fully rebuilt Dodge 400 engine, new from carburetor to pan, forged crank, Competition Cam, Stainless values, stainless lifters, new 750 carburetor, all new high quality internals. 410 HP. New motor comes with complete machine shop paperwork and warranty. I also have available a newly rebuilt 727 Automatic transmission, with mild shift. This is a high option, excellent condition overall project original 340 Road Runner. Life changes forces sale. My price is below my break even point. This is an excellent example of the final year for the 340 Roadrunner. These cars are few and far between.
