"Cruisin Classics is excited to present to you this 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass S. You'll quickly find that this is not your average 72 Cutlass, as the most recent owner has spent over $34K in upgrades over the last 5 years! This eye-catching Cutlass is dressed in a high-quality two-tone respray of its original colors Viking Blue with a Cameo White top. The paint is deep and glossy with very few minor imperfections. The hood of this Olds features a set of bright faux louvers that really add to the sporty appearance. Up front is a separated horizontal grille flanked by dual side-by-side headlights that sit above a bright chrome bumper with round integrated turn signals. The sides of this Cutlass really pop in the light with bright wheel lip molding, body side molding, rocker covers, door handles, and window trim. The hood has a bright chrome reveal at the rear that helps keep the hideaway wipers hidden and both fenders sport ""Cutlass S"" badging. At the rear of the car is another gleaming chrome bumper with integrated tail lights and reverse lights, dual chrome exhaust tips, and a hidden gas fill behind the license plate. This beauty sits atop a set of Magnum 500 wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich Radial T/A's that are a perfect complement to the stunning exterior.
Lift the hood to reveal the real star of this show a freshly rebuilt all-black 454 that will knock your socks off! The majority of the money spent on upgrades to this Cutlass was spent under the hood and it sure does look like it. The engine bay itself is clean, organized, and freshly painted. The 454ci V-8 has been bored .30 over and treated to a new camshaft and lifters. This big block is outfitted with Edelbrock aluminum RPM heads, a black Edelbrock aluminum intake, black Edelbrock valve covers, a black Holley Sniper EFI system, and a black & red Edelbrock air cleaner. More blacked-out parts are found at the front of the block on the new serpentine belt system including a high-output alternator, water pump, air conditioning compressor, and power steering fill. Behind the grille is a new Champion aluminum radiator with dual electric fans to keep things nice and cool even on the hottest days. There's also new MSD electronic ignition, a new mini starter, new battery, and a new flywheel to insure reliable starts. The fuel system has been updated as well with a new gas tank, in-tank fuel pump, and lines. Exhaust flows through new black Patriot headers and Flowmaster 40 series Delta Flow Mufflers with a heavenly rumble. The big V-8 is mated to a new Tremec TKO 600 HD 5-speed transmission that puts down the power through a 10-bolt rear end with 3.08 positraction gears. This incredible drivetrain combination offers the ability to do lay down some rubber or easily cruise at 80mph down the freeway all day, and anything in between. With all of that power comes the need for some serious brakes, and this Cutlass has that covered with a new black Wilwood-style master cylinder and a front disc / rear drum combo.
Open the drivers door and the dome light flips on to illuminate a very nice black vinyl interior with wood accents. The door panels appear OEM-correct with black vinyl, carpet, and woodgrain trim and the drivers door offers a toggle for the side mirror. Great-looking black vinyl bench seats in the front and rear invite you inside for a comfortable ride. The floors are dressed with newer high-quality black carpet and the ceiling is covered with a tight black vinyl headliner. Rising up from the floor is a dog-leg Hurst shifter with a black boot and a silver Tremec pattern ball. The crack-free black vinyl dash is home to a woodgrain gauge bezel on the drivers side. There is a gas gauge that shares a unit with warning lights for brake, gen, oil, and temp as well as a separate speedometer and an Autometer SuperTach II that fills the spot of the factory tach. Also in the dash are factory HVAC controls that crank out cold A/C and hot heat with a strong fan on demand. There is an original-looking AM/FM push-button radio that plays your favorite cruisin tunes through a speaker in the dash and a 6X9 in the rear package tray. The glovebox on the passenger side contains an original owners manual and warranty booklet, Protect-O-Plate, photos of the car during the repaint, and service receipts. Mounted under the dash are a controller for the Holley Sniper EFI system and a trio of gauges for air/fuel, oil, and vacuum. Ahead of the driver is a black 4-spoke Oldsmobile steering wheel and slightly to the left is a switch for the 2-speed wipers. Back in the trunk is a carpet mat, a new car cover, a non-matching spare with jack, and a new stereo wiring kit if you'd like to upgrade the existing one.
From the outside this Cutlass is a great-looking head-turning classic, but when you peek under the hood or hit the accelerator you'll see that it is SO much more! This Olds really does check all the boxes slick paint, gleaming brightwork, comfortable interior, A/C, power steering & brakes, 5-speed, and a big block! Not to mention, almost every component under the hood has been upgraded in the last 5 years (less than 1K miles!). Give our staff a call today and make this bad-to-the-bone Cutlass your own!

Here at Cruisin Classics, we understand that you have many options when choosing where you purchase your classic, muscle or collector car and we would like to thank you for considering us.
Cruisin Classics has been buying and selling cars for many years.. The majority were your average daily drivers but our passion has always been in muscle cars and hot rods so in 1996, Cruisin Classics built a 56,000 sq.ft. showroom located in Columbus, OH that they still operate out of today. All of our vehicles are hand-picked and selected to ensure they fit our inventory. This facility is now arguably one of the best-stocked collections for sale in the US housing hundreds of unique automobiles all under one roof. We invite you to our facility! There is something for everybody when you come to visit.
After years of serving as central Ohio's premiere classic car dealer at Cruisin Classics Auto Sales, we saw an unfulfilled need that was not being met for our clients. We loved helping match our clients with the classic and American muscle cars of their dreams. But what about after the purchase? We recognized that our clients needed a trusted resource to continue to care for their classic vehicles. It did not sit well with us that our valued clients and their incredible vehicles were being outsourced to, sometimes several, third-party resources for maintenance and performance needs. We also wanted to help the many people that we had met over the years who already owned classic vehicles which were in need of restoration, upgrades, and maintenance. Too often, we were seeing vehicles with so much potential left sitting in garages under covers because their owners did not know who to turn to for such specialized work. It is our goal to offer our clients a truly comprehensive, seamless, and enjoyable classic car ownership experience, from purchase to maintenance to storage. Thus, Cruisin Classics Performance Center was born. We have cherry-picked the most talented, experienced, and passionate team of technicians to offer our clients a true one-stop-shop solution for any and all of their classic car needs. Our honest business model has lasted almost 25 years to date and Cruisin Classics has a worldwide reputation as one of the best in the business.
Outside of the shop, this business has afforded us the opportunity to be actively involved in our community and fulfill our goal of supporting several local and national organizations that hold a special place in our hearts. We are proud sponsors of the Kiwanis Club of Columbus, the Columbus USO, Honor Flight, Special Olympics, multiple car clubs, and much more.
In conclusion, 100% customer satisfaction is our main goal. Always has been.. always will be. We would like to invite anyone considering one of our vehicles to come to our beautiful facility to inspect the car in person or send somebody on your behalf.
