With its high-revving 350 cubic inch V8 engine and factory-rated 255 horsepower, the LT1 offered a thrilling balance of performance, handling, and style. Built for true driving enthusiasts, it combined track-worthy power with the unmistakable curves of the iconic C3 Corvette. This model year marked the final run for both the chrome front and rear bumpers and the LT1 engine, making them a highly sought-after collector's piece. The LT1 engine package came with a solid-lifter camshaft, high-compression pistons, and a Holley 4-barrel carburetor, giving it a distinctive lopey idle and a sound that commands attention. This was also the only year that air conditioning was available with the high revving LT1. Of the cars equipped with an LT1 only 240 examples came from the factory with air conditioning. This example offered here was built on 6/5/1972 as per the NCRS shipping data report and is finished in the highly desirable color combination of 973 Mille Miglia Red complemented by the optional trim code 404 Black leather interior. Equipped with a numbers-matching LT1 350ci engine, m21 four-speed manual and equipped with optional Frigidaire Air Conditioning. Additional options include power windows, black convertible top, power brakes, tilt steering wheel, am/fm radio and power steering. This example has undergone a beautiful frame-off restoration and has since received a coveted NCRS Top Flight award. If you're a Corvette connoisseur, a 1972 LT1 optioned with air conditioning should be on your radar, with only 240 examples ever built! The rarity accompanied by a NCRS Top Flight award status, numbers-matching engine and beautiful restoration make this example a unique opportunity. Additional Details: 1972 CHEVROLET CORVETTE -
