Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee is excited to present this 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle. Gateway. The Chevelle was produced from 1964-1977. Designed as a mid-sized car that was sold in coupes, convertibles, sedans, and station wagons. In 1972, the Chevrolet Chevelle was the highest selling car in the United States. This second generation Chevelle received a completely new body design in 1968. A new longer hood sculptured front fenders, short rear deck and a flowing roofline have made this generation of Chevelle much more popular in the Classic Car market. This 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle is painted in canary yellow accented with a black vinyl roof and racing stripes running down the hood and deck lid. A meaty set of alloy wheels are mounted on period raised white letter tires. The black vinyl interior sports an after-market tach, AM/FM radio and air conditioning. Under the hood is a 402 big block V-8 attached to a three-speed automatic transmission. Power steering and power brakes make for a great driving machine.
