1972 Buick GS stage-1 convertible Zone car. This is #9 (Cincinnati Ohio Warehouse) one of twenty-five Zone cars, eleven known to exist. Then it was sent to Tatone Buick INC for retail. This car has had a body on restoration with very nice paint. From what I believe and also previous owners this car has a very nice original panel body. It has very nice interior, new convertible top, factory style well liner, pads and cables. Powered by a 72 455 stage-1 engine and Original BB ...trans. They have had a recent rebuild and original N25 exhaust tips with dual exhaust. The engine (1238861) is built to 72 455 Stage-1 with the correct casting numbers, built to better than 72 specs. The engine has many. upgrades that you do not see, arp bolts, better compression forged pistons 9.8, balanced, high flow stainless Stage-1 valves (70.5 CC AVG), pac springs, PC seals, true roller and so much more. The stage-1 carb (7042242) was rebuilt as well as the stage-1 distributor (1112016). I do have the engine complete specs and details, just too much info for an ad. The Original numbers matching 400 turbo BB trans was also rebuilt with a NOS modulator and new HD Coan converter. Everything works as it should, NO kinks to work out on this one Some upgrades. Tach, Original 72 GM in place of 24 Hr clock AM/FM in place of AM Boxed rear lower control arms & sway bar The first 25 Stage 1 convertibles, built in August of 71, were sent directly to the Buick Zone Offices across the USA. All 25 Zone Office cars were painted Flame Orange (trim tag paint code 65, code Z on the order form), with a white convertible top (trim tag code A, code 1 on the order form), and a white bench seat interior (trim tag code 135 A65, code 245 on the order form). All 25 Zone Office cars were built with the exact same list of options: Stage 1 performance option, turbo hydra?matic 400 transmission, power disc brakes, power steering?fast variable ratio, sonomatic radio (AM), stereo tape player, rear speaker,
