Another beautiful Basil Classic... a 1971 Chevrolet Corvette LT-1 Convertible with only 31,761 miles that has been handpicked and meets Joe Basil's standards of excellence and tradition of fine automobiles since 1951. This vehicle is truly one of a kind and one of the cleanest, most well taken care of, showroom condition Corvette LT-1's that you will find! Buy with confidence!! This Convertible LT-1 is finished in Brands Hatch Green with a black vinyl convertible top which is pretty rare and looks amazing. The interior features green vinyl bucket seats paired with a green matching dashboard and door panels which go great with the exterior. Shown by the pin stripe badging this corvette has the famous LT-1 engine which is a 5.7L V8. This engine is unique because it features a 9:0:1 compression ratio paired with a Holley 780CFM carburetor, and a true dual exhaust system matted to a 4-speed manual transmission which produces upwards of 330HP. The LT-1 was only available between 1970-1972 and only came in Camaro's and Corvette's at the time. The paint is in amazing condition and looks great in the sunlight, and the interior is just as nice as the pictures express. The color, convertible top and 4-speed manual transmission paired with the LT-1 engine is what makes this car so rare and unique to collectors, and you will be hard pressed to find another example as clean as this one. Just look and you can tell that this vehicle was very well cared for by its owners and kept in show condition! When you drive this vehicle, it has the feel that you're looking for...runs and drives just like new! This is a no excuse vehicle. This car will make a fine collector's piece for you and your family for years to come! Instead of looking at your dream car, drive it. We take trades and have financing available.
