This Chevelle was born a highly optioned factory SS LS5 and has its original build sheet and Registry certificate framed and with the vehicle. The vehicle was tastefully upgraded for modern driving performance and comfort! Under the hood, it boasts a 454ci Big Block engine producing 450HP, paired with a Tremec TKO 5 speed manual transmission. Performance enhancements include a mild cam, Hooker headers, an Edelbrock Air Gap Intake Manifold, and a Holley Sniper EFI system. Additional upgrades feature 3" Stainless Pypes X-Pipe Crossover to a Street Pro Dual Stainless Steel exhaust system that sounds awesome!Braking and handling are top-notch, thanks to a power braking system with four-wheel disc brakes, tubular lower control arms, sway bars, and rear trac bars. Power is delivered to the pavement through a 12-bolt 3/31 posi rear end. Inside, the Chevelle is outfitted with white bucket seats, Dakota Digital gauges, a Pioneer radio with upgraded speakers for a modern audio experience. The exterior shows well and is finished in its factory Forest Green paint code and sits on a staggered set of Magnum 500 rims wrapped in BF Goodrich Radial T/A. Founded by Michael LaFontaine Sr. and his two grandsons, Zackary and Mackenzie Hinsperger, LaFontaine Classic Cars offers guests an unmatched offering of iconic classic vehicles – from weekend cruisers to Concours quality show vehicles.
Just prior to the passing of the matriarch of LaFontaine Automotive Group, Maureen LaFontaine, the building in downtown Milford became available and it was the ideal location to launch LaFontaine Classic Cars. The attention to detail and automotive nostalgia throughout is a tribute to Maureen and her everlasting legacy.
The showroom aims to bring buyers back in time to a more classic feel. In addition to all the vehicles in the showroom, the space is decorated with vintage signs from vehicle brands of the past. Not only are there vehicles in the building, but the parking lot to the south contains many others available for purchase.
Michael Sr. commented, “This area is prefect for us as we have a lot of roots in Milford and absolutely love this quaint downtown. We look forward to welcoming fellow automotive enthusiasts through our showroom doors and they can expect to receive the same Family Deal feeling people have come to expect at any of our other dealerships. LaFontaine Classic Cars acquires vehicles several ways, with a majority of them coming through auction and Michael Sr.’s personal collection.
