Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas-Fort Worth is proud to present this absolutely rowdy 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle. A timeless classic thats been carefully refurbished and upgraded to deliver the kind of muscle car performance that gets your adrenaline surging.Dressed in Sparkle Silver Metallic with bold black SS stripes under three coats of Diamond Clear, this Chevelle is a head-turner with attitude. The iconic SS domed hood adds aggression up front, while a full shave of body emblems and all-new bumpers give it a clean, modern look that pays respect to its heritage. It rolls on polished 16" American Racing Torque Thrust II wheels wrapped in BFG 245/50ZR16 rubber, giving it a stout, ready-for-battle stance.Under the hood? A beast. Youre looking at a 496 cubic inch big block built to move mountains-Scat 4.25" forged crank, Eagle H-beam rods with ARP bolts, and JE 10.5:1 forged pistons all come together for bulletproof bottom-end strength. Topped with World Products Merlin iron oval-port heads, an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, and a Holley Street Avenger 770cfm carb, this setup cranks out a monstrous 521 horsepower at 5400 rpm and a tire-twisting 592 lb-ft of torque at 3600 rpm.It breathes through 1 7/8" thermal-coated headers feeding a full 3" mandrel-bent exhaust system with a Dr. Gas "X" crossover and Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers-great for that deep, signature big-block growl. Cooling and performance are balanced by polygraphite bushings, HEI ignition with MSD GAL, and a Turbo 400 transmission to put the power down reliably. Out back, a 12-bolt rear with 3.73 gears and Auburn posi ensures the grip matches the grunt. The chassis is buttoned up with Southside Machine control arms, an F-41 sway bar package, Koni front shocks, and new polygraphite suspension mounts, making it feel tighter and more responsive than your average 70s cruiser.Inside, its all business: completely redone stock interior with bench seats, headliner, carpets, door panels, and more. A 5" Autometer Shift-Lite tach and supporting gauges for oil pressure, volts, and temp keep you in the know. Theres no radio-because this car doesnt sing tunes; it roars.Whether youre a collector, a cruiser, or someone ready to rule the street and show circuit, this Chevelle blends old-school looks with serious modern muscle.Dont miss your chance to own this killer example of classic American power.
