It comes equipped with power steering, a red interior, a black convertible top, dual chambered exhaust, rally wheels, and a Delco AM/FM radio. Under the hood, it retains original components like the valve covers, air cleaner assembly, and ignition shielding, while benefiting from performance upgrades including an Edelbrock aluminum intake and Holley carburetor. We performed routine maintenance including an oil and filter change, rear end grease and additive change, and checked and lubed the chassis. We also replaced several key components such as the sway bar links, rag joint, and pinion seal, ensuring this Corvette is ready to go. The previous owner had the car since 2008 and invested in a number of thoughtful upgrades over the years. These include dual chambered exhaust system, Edelbrock intake, Holley carb, offset trailing arms, strut rods, all four shocks, leaf spring rubbers, power steering components, seat covers, carpeting, door panels, and a black convertible top. This Corvette runs and drives beautifully, delivering plenty of power and an unmistakable exhaust note. 1969 was the second year for the C3 generation corvette. It was the last year for no fender flares, the 3 speed transmission option, and the L71 427/435hp, L88 427/430Hp, and L68 427/400Hp engine options. This was the first year that the T-top corvette out-sold the convertible with 22,129 T-tops being built versus only 16,633 convertibles that year.

Hobby Car Auto Sales, Inc. is owned and operated by Bob and R.J. Sottile, a father and son team. It started as a hobby and evolved into our family business, hence the name Hobby Cars. We opened our business in 1986 with just 13 Corvettes. We have expanded our inventory so that now there are over 70 Corvettes available. Because of this, we were able to expanded our original building two years ago. The addition of our new building has helped us to house more of our inventory.
Bob, the owner, has been involved in the car industry his entire life. He started out pumping gas at a local gas station and from there was hooked. He has owned a variety of different cars over the years, but he has built his business selling Corvettes.Through hard work and long hours, Bob turned his love of cars into a business he can be proud of.
RJ, the head salesman, has been in this position since the age of three. He has worked in the family business side by side with his dad his entire childhood. After high school, he attended WyoTech, where he received an Associates Degree in business. RJ has taken the family business to the next level by making it available globally online. You can find him under the hood of a corvette, in the showroom with a customer, listing new inventory online, or on the road searching for new Corvettes to buy.
Mason, the junior head salesman, is the new kid in town. He loves coming to the shop to work with Pappy and RJ. He is learning about Corvettes side by side with Pappy just like RJ used to do.
