1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 RS 4 Speed
This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 coupe was refurbished in 2008. A DZ-suffix 302ci V8 and a four-speed manual transmission power the car. All vin numbers and date codes are in the gallery. This is an X33 Exterior Trim Group with the cross-ram intake and dual four-barrel carburetors installed. The car left the factory finished in Daytona Yellow (76) with black stripes. The Rally Sport package added a revised grille, concealed headlights, and reverse lights beneath the rear bumper, and further details include a black vinyl roof cover, a cowl induction hood, front and rear spoilers, and rear bumper guards. The 15? Rally wheels are mounted with E70-15 Goodyear Wide Tread GT tires. The car has power steering, power-assisted front discs, and rear drums handle braking. The front bucket seats and rear bench are upholstered in black vinyl. The car was equipped with a factory-deleted radio and center console, and appointments included a Hurst shifter, a cabin heater, front shoulder belts, and faux woodgrain trim on the dashboard. The RS-branded steering wheel sits on a tilting column and fronts a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and a fuel level gauge.
Decoding the Fisher body tag reveals the following information:
-ST 69 12437: 1969 Camaro coupe
-NOR329625: Norwood, Ohio, assembly; body number
-711: Black vinyl upholstery and bucket seats
-76B: Daytona Yellow with black stripes
-05A: Built the first week of May
-X33: Style Trim Group w/Z28 Special Performance Equipment
The '69 Z28 was one of the hottest-looking rides of the classic muscle car era and showed what Chevy stylists could do to express performance and excitement. Hello and welcome to LRA AUTO SALES. We purchased a Chevrolet Dealership almost three years ago and turned it into a Quality Pre-Owned Auto Superstore and Muscle & Classic Car Museum.
I named it LRA Enterprises Auto Museum and Auto Sales which encompasses my two son’s initials and mine. I wanted it to become a family oriented place where parents could take their sons & daughters to and show them what cars use to be like in their era and where they can purchase a car of their era. Where a husband and wife could bring their children to and link the gap of automotive history from present back to the past.
We pride ourselves in displaying some of automotive history’s greatest and most rarest cars ever built. Where names such as Corvette, Super Sport, BOSS 429, MOPAR and HEMI are common place. We are also strong in the racing heritage and names such as Lingenfelter and Ray Barton, Richard Petty and Bobby Allison are legends and at LRA we’ll make sure those legends will never die.
We offer a “one stop shop” kind of atmosphere and offer all aspects of sales, service, auto body and collision and towing. We encompass a full array of Cars and Trucks for sale from the 1950’s up to current day. We also have a Speed Shop on site, offering everything from wheels to accessories and even dyno runs for measuring horsepower.
We are located at 3114 Veterans Highway / Route 413 in Bristol PA and provide quality pre-owned cars and quality pre-owned trucks to all the surrounding areas of Bristol.
For customized driving directions, contact us today at: 215-781-3790.
