Zoom Classic Cars presents this professionally restored 1969 Camaro SS (X11 Code). Wrapped in classic colors of Frost Green (code 59) exterior with Dark Green (code 725) deluxe interior with matching vinyl roof this car is an eye catcher. This true SS said to have ALL numbers matching driveline which includes code (HB) 350ci/300HP/4 Barrel/L-48 engine mated to its automatic Turbo-350 transmission and 12bolt (open) rear with 3:07 gearing. Non expert investigation concludes rear end and transmission ID look to be correct but unable to confirm VIN ID on engine due to a poor-quality engine stamp located by the oil filter which is a location used in 1969 in place of the pass side upper stamp pad. This stamp (by the oil filter) is industry documented to be difficult to make out as the stamping was made on an area that is raw and unmachined on the block casting. The casting number of the engine block is 3932388 which is correct for a 1969 350ci/300hp engine. General SS cues are ALL there which include factory 12 bolt rearend, quick ratio steering box, front disc brakes and dual exhaust. Moving on to the pavement, 14in rally wheels and trim are wrapped with BFG 225/70R14 tires all 4 excellent. Options on this SS include Power Disc brakes, Power Steering and AM/FM Radio. Extensive work by the prior owner (and professional restoration specialist) included a complete frame off restoration of what was a very clean car to begin with, work was completed 11 years ago and currently shows excellent. This was NOT a patchwork restoration - the professional extent to complete was front to rear/top to bottom with every aspect of this car properly rebuilt & refinished with quality in mind. Body lines are clean, panel gaps are correct, finish work is detailed including nice door jambs & factory style build markings its a real nice car for sure and excellent driver. Everything on this car functions correctly including the AM/FM Radio. The car has seen garage kept limited use with its current owner since his initial purchase directly from the restorer in 2015. Overall, this car shows extremely well, interior is excellent (including all glass and headliner) and seat belts. Unable to match this price point with current costs to replicate - this beauty is ready for a new home and more memories. Clean NJ Title, seen by appointment only, call Scott (201) 483-0388.
