1968 CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE
This 1968 Chevrolet Corvette convertible went through a lengthy restoration and was recently completed. Powered by a new 427ci crate bowtie engine paired with a Hurst 4sp manual Muncie Rock crusher transmission and completely rebuilt posi traction rear with 3:73 gear ratio. A Holley Quick Fuel 750 carb sits atop the engine with a factory L88 air cleaner. Exterior is beautifully finished in blue with a white soft top and that classic L88 hood.
The Corvettes restoration was meticulously done to retain the original exterior and interior of the 1968 Corvette. Powder coating was done on many suspension parts. Features include pop-up headlights, chrome bumpers, twin front grilles, fender vents, quadruple taillights, luggage rack and dual exhaust outlets. Brightwork is all in excellent condition. A polished set of headers and Magnaflow dual exhaust gives this classic its healthy rumble.
Silver-painted 15? Rally wheels feature chrome hubcaps and trim rings and are mounted with BFGoodrich TA Radial tires. Power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes
The bucket seats are upholstered in blue vinyl and fitted with lap belts, and the carpets and door sills were replaced. The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, while instrumentation found in the center stack includes an analog clock along with displays for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and amperage.
Amenities include an AM/FM radio, cabin heater and installation of a Hurst shifter. The restoration was very high quality, and the car looks stunning and drives just as good. The result is a C3 Corvette that feels almost new again. Here is an opportunity to own a classic Corvette that won't break the bank. Hello and welcome to LRA AUTO SALES. We purchased a Chevrolet Dealership almost three years ago and turned it into a Quality Pre-Owned Auto Superstore and Muscle & Classic Car Museum.
I named it LRA Enterprises Auto Museum and Auto Sales which encompasses my two son’s initials and mine. I wanted it to become a family oriented place where parents could take their sons & daughters to and show them what cars use to be like in their era and where they can purchase a car of their era. Where a husband and wife could bring their children to and link the gap of automotive history from present back to the past.
We pride ourselves in displaying some of automotive history’s greatest and most rarest cars ever built. Where names such as Corvette, Super Sport, BOSS 429, MOPAR and HEMI are common place. We are also strong in the racing heritage and names such as Lingenfelter and Ray Barton, Richard Petty and Bobby Allison are legends and at LRA we’ll make sure those legends will never die.
We offer a “one stop shop” kind of atmosphere and offer all aspects of sales, service, auto body and collision and towing. We encompass a full array of Cars and Trucks for sale from the 1950’s up to current day. We also have a Speed Shop on site, offering everything from wheels to accessories and even dyno runs for measuring horsepower.
We are located at 3114 Veterans Highway / Route 413 in Bristol PA and provide quality pre-owned cars and quality pre-owned trucks to all the surrounding areas of Bristol.
