Freshly Built 396 V8 | 4 Speed Manual | Power Steering | Power Brakes | Posi TractionThis 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle is powered by a fresh 396ci V8 that has been fitted with a Comp Hydraulic Roller cam (11-600-8), Edlebrock Performer 2.0 intake manifold with ported matched heads, Edlebrock AVS2 650 Double Pumper, all bearings and hardware have been replaced as well. The rear wheels are driven through a four-speed manual transmission paired to a 10 bolt posi rear gear. Additional equipment includes a custom-fabricated exhaust system to Flowmaster mufflers, chrome-finished us mag wheels, lowered suspension, a newer black convertible soft top, quad LED headlights, power-assisted front disc brakes, power steering, upgraded radio, and aftermarket auxiliary gauges.The car was repainted in dark blue approximately five years ago and restoration photos are included with the vehicle. It features a black convertible soft top that is in excellent condition as well! Chrome Mag wheels measure 18? in front and 20? out back are mounted with Bridgestone Potenza tires. Just prior to the passing of the matriarch of LaFontaine Automotive Group, Maureen LaFontaine, the building in downtown Milford became available and it was the ideal location to launch LaFontaine Classic Cars. The attention to detail and automotive nostalgia throughout is a tribute to Maureen and her everlasting legacy.
The showroom aims to bring buyers back in time to a more classic feel. In addition to all the vehicles in the showroom, the space is decorated with vintage signs from vehicle brands of the past. Not only are there vehicles in the building, but the parking lot to the south contains many others available for purchase.
Michael Sr. commented, “This area is prefect for us as we have a lot of roots in Milford and absolutely love this quaint downtown. We look forward to welcoming fellow automotive enthusiasts through our showroom doors and they can expect to receive the same Family Deal feeling people have come to expect at any of our other dealerships. LaFontaine Classic Cars acquires vehicles several ways, with a majority of them coming through auction and Michael Sr.’s personal collection.
