1965 volkswagen bus This is a factory German 11 window standard sunroof (golde) walk-through bus with factory belly pans. It was originally sea blue/blue white color scheme. At some point, the previous owner had built it into a camper of sorts. Since I've acquired it, I bought a new full width middle seat (which it came with from the factory, oddly enough, though this one is a WW repro) and a rear seat. I bought a full Sewfine interior kit, which I installed myself. I've never done it before and screwed up in a couple places. It's by no means perfect, but it made me happy to learn and do it myself. New window rubber and door seals all the way around. (minus rear hatch seal) Doors are still super tight with new gaskets. The transaxle is strong. The engine runs well, though at high rpms once it warms up, it has an intermittent grinding sound. Previously written:Anything above 50 mph or so, the noise shows up. I have identified the noise as being an engine issue. When I rev it in neutral after the engine is warm, it makes the noise in the higher rpm range. I've subsequently shimmed the front pulley of the alternator and that seems to have made a significant change with the engine noise. I just completed a 45 minute drive to include the freeway going up to 70, and the noise was no longer present. Seems like it is/was an alternator/fan issue. It has been hit in the nose and has bondo there and in a few other places around the bus. I've replaced any major cancer, which was the cargo floor just below the cargo doors, the bottom of both b-pillars and the battery tray. There are a few small holes maybe a cm in the front floor. I had the speedo rebuilt by Orange County Speedo. All vin markings and m-code plate are present. You're likely to be the only one at a VW show with a standard sunroof. These are extremely rare.fuel: gas odometer: 99999 title status: clean transmission: manual Please Note The Following **Vehicle Location is at our clients home
