Zoom Classic Cars is proud to present this 1965 Mustang Coupe Resto-Mod completed by Ace Custom Classics of Cornelius, Oregon in the Summer of 2022. This vehicle has undergone a complete rebuild, being disassembled down to the shell, which was media blasted, and rust repair was completed as needed. Frame rail connectors were installed, and the shell was finished in epoxy primer while the undercarriage, cab and trunk were finished with Raptor bed liner. New doors, hood, trunk lid, hood hinges, sheet metal, front and rear lower valance were all installed. The vehicle has less than 1000 miles since the restoration was completed. The vehicle is powered by a rebuilt small block Ford motor upgraded to a 331 Stroker using a Scat Stroker kit. New oil pump, fuel pump, filters, intake manifold, headers and an Edelbrock AVS carburetor have been installed. The vehicle also features new 3 row aluminum radiator with electric cooling fan, electronic distributor, coil, spark plugs and wires. The power is transferred to the rear wheels via a rebuilt C4 automatic three-speed transmission with shift kit and high stall torque converter. The vehicle has an 8 V8 rear end, new custom fit dual exhaust, new front and rear V8 suspension. It rides on new American Racing Torque Thrust Wheels and stops via the power front disk brakes. The ride has been improved with a Monte Carlo bar and export brace, as well as power rack & pinion steering. The interior features all new Pony seat upholstery, new headliner, new underlayment, carpet, door panels, seat belts, door handles, arm rests and all new weatherstripping and gaskets. The vehicle also features air conditioning and an in-dash stereo system with kick panel and package tray speakers. The vehicle features a Fire Red Pearl exterior with Dark Shadow Gray Metallic Stripes. The most recent service includes a new solenoid, starter, alternator & battery. If youre looking for an early edition Mustang with multiple modern upgrades, this is the vehicle for you. There are more details to share about new items from the build with an interested buyer. The vehicle is a real attention getter and is located in Mount Angel, Oregon with a clean title in the sellers name, and an asking price of $55,900. Contact Tom F.
