Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to digitally present this highly original 1965 Ford Mustang. Lets just get right to it, shall we? Did Ford make a billion Ford Mustang coupes? Yes, they did. Have the vast majority transferred through dozens of owners, been painted five different colors, or blown up three times? Probably. However, not this one. The current owner states he is only the third owner of this pony and that it was restored in the mid 1980s. If you had to pick a word to describe this beauty what would it be?? Original? Impressive? Survivor? The word, "Clean," could be the most accurate. The Guardsman Blue is simply a beautiful color for this legendary, "Secretarys car." If you want a true time capsule, here you go. This Mustang still thinks its 1965! The 289ci 4bl fires right up, runs smooth, and you could eat off of the engine bay. No seriously, you could. The car is simply one of the most solid 65s weve had in a long time. Documented history. Well cared for. Bone stock. Mustang collectors need to take a look at this one.
