This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette split-window coupe is powered by a 327ci L75 V8 paired with a replacement three-speed automatic and is refinished in white. The selling dealer acquired the car in the fall of 2024 from an owner of 32 years who had purchased it in Ohio and relocated it to Tennessee. Features include 15? turbine-style wheels with three-eared knock-off spinners, power steering, an AM/FM radio, and concealed headlights. This C2 split-window coupe is now offered at no reserve with a clean Tennessee title.
The fiberglass body was originally finished in Ermine White and has been refinished. Features include flip-up headlamps, fender vents, quad tail lamps, chrome bumperettes, and dual exhaust tips that exit through the rear valance. Imperfections are shown up close in the gallery.
The 15? turbine-style wheels wear three-eared knock-off spinners and are mounted with Courier tires measuring 215/75. The C2 was the first Corvette to offer fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by four-wheel drums.
The cabin features two bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl as well as color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Amenities include a heater, an AM/FM radio, an inoperative analog clock, and lap belts.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,300-rpm redline as well as gauges for amperage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 52k miles, approximately 50 of which were added under current ownership.
The 327ci L75 V8 was equipped from the factory with a single four-barrel carburetor for a factory rating of 300 horsepower.
The engine stamping includes sequence 3103711, which matches the last six digits of the vehicle's serial number. The SD suffix corresponds with a 300-horsepower, 327ci V8 for use with an automatic transmission.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a replacement three-speed automatic transmission that is said to have been installed before 1992.
