1959 Mercedes-Benz 220SE 'Ponton' Cabriolet
This 1959 Mercedes-Benz 220SE 'Ponton' Cabriolet is a highly original car in need of cosmetic restoration. Blue with red interior. An honest car with a lot of potential. It runs and drives but has some rust and needs paint, chrome, and interior work. In 1958 the 220 range was updated with a fuel-injected version of the 2.2-litre overhead-camshaft six, becoming the 220SE. Maximum power increased to 115bhp, and there was a useful improvement in acceleration, the 0-60mph time reducing by two seconds. One of the company?s most elegant creations, the 220SE Cabriolet is a fantastic display of refinement, build quality, and effortless performance. Don't miss out on the rare and exciting opportunity to restore this highly original example.
