Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee is excited to present this 1959 Mercedes Benz 220S four-door saloon. The 220S was built from 1956-59. All cars produced used a 2.2L in-line I6 attached to a four-speed manual transmission. A new "ponton" integrated body offered more interior room and comfort. The 220S was priced well below its big brother 300 series but still offered the same quality build, engineering, and forward-thinking design. While displaying luxury features including leather seating and real walnut wood interior trim. This 1959 Mercedes Benz 220S Saloon is painted in light blue with a dark blue leather interior. Forward thinking appointments include split front seats, passenger/driver heat controls and air conditioning. A state of the art fully independent front suspension and single joint rear swing axle makes this 1959 Mercedes Benz 220S an awesome driving machine. Even the original owners manual is included so one can navigate the cluster of knobs and switches that adorn the dash panel.
