"This E-Code 1957 Ford Thunderbird is a beautiful E-Bird with Arizona History and underwent an extensive frame-off restoration. The 1957 model of Ford's iconic Thunderbird was by far the most popular Thunderbird model up until that point, with Ford producing 21,380. Of those 21,380 Thunderbirds, Ford produced 1,499 ""E-Birds"" which are those with an E-Code VIN number meaning that they came with Ford's 312 Cubic Inch V8 engine paired with Dual 4 Barrel Carburetors. The E-Birds with their upgraded powerplant produced 270 horsepower, which was significantly more horsepower than the standard Thunderbird V8s. This particular E-Code Thunderbird comes to us out of Arizona where it was completely restored from the ground-up. Being that this car lived in Arizona for many years, it was upgraded with Air Conditioning which is a very nice option especially on those hot summer day cruises. The Dual Carburetor 312 V8 is mated up to a smooth shifting Ford-O-Matic Automatic Transmission ensuring that anybody can drive this fabulous Baby Bird. This 57 Thunderbird is also equipped with Power Steering and Power Brakes, which makes this E-Bird a much nicer car to drive. Dual Exhaust gives this T-Bird a nice throaty sound. The Colonial White Porthole Hardtop and White Vinyl Soft Top are both in excellent condtion. This '57 E-Code Thunderbird sits on 4 Wire Wheels with Wide Whitewall Radial Tires. The rear wheel wells are equipped with color matching fender skirts. The exterior on this stunning Thunderbird has been refinished in the car's original color, Thunderbird Bronze, and the paintwork shows extraordinarily well. The interior on this E-Bird is absolutely stunning! The Bronze Bench Seat and Padded dash look exactly like they did when this E-Bird rolled off the line of the Dearborn, Michigan manufacturing plant. The door panels and steering wheel look fabulous. The upgraded under-dash air conditioning unit as well as the upgraded water temperature, oil pressure, and amp gauges are tastefully tucked under the otherwise stock dash. The radio has been upgraded as well to a later model version so that you can listen to all of your tunes while cruising down the road. If you're looking for one of the rarest and most desirable T-Birds ever produced, this E-Code 1957 Ford Thunderbird is the car for you. Give us a call today!
