Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to digitally present this majestic 1956 Ford Thunderbird. The "Baby Birds" from 1955 - 1957 are a true work of art and just may be the most beautiful cars to ever roll off of a Ford assembly line. This black beauty has been in the ownership of the same family for nearly four decades and was restored within the past five years. During the restoration process, the front brakes were upgraded to disc, and power steering was added along with an aluminum radiator. The 292ci engines werent known to be the smoothest running of V-8s, but this one has been tuned beautifully and runs exceptionally nice. The gorgeous black exterior, white and black interior, white convertible top, and wide whites create a true masterpiece that deserves a standing ovation. In 56, its believed only 3,800 T-birds were sprayed in Raven Black. How many of those are left on the road today? Theres absolutely no way you could purchase a baby bird and bring it to this level for this price.
