1955 Pontiac Safari Wagon is VERY RARE in comparison to the 55 Chevy Nomad. In 1955, Chevy produced around 8600 of its Nomad model. This Pontiac is an upscale version of the Nomad and only 3760 were produced. She is indeed a rare beauty and truly extraordinary one of a kind muscle car with tons of collectibility in all directions, and quality! She is from front to back starting with the mechanics amazing!!! First of all, she has an all new (Ron Francis) wiring kit front to back. A custom made, Aluminum radiator for keeping her cool. Has a fresh 454 with only (200 miles on her) replacing the original low horsepower V8. She has the sound of a very strong running big block that she is!! New Dual FLOMASTER exhaust front to back. Fuel Injection. Backing up the 454 is a 400 Turbo that shifts good and firm. She also has Power Steering and front Power Disc Brakes (all new) and a Ford 9 inch bringing up the rear. She is also an extremely rare factory AIR CONDITONING car that has ICE COLD A/C. She has other rare factory accessories together with a working 4 way power seat, and a very rare front bumper overrider. And the Indian hood ornament lights up !! She has all New or Polished Stainless and all new chrome. She has 17 inch RIDDLER Wheels, with new tires. Her Interior is pretty stellar! Her two - tone paint scheme looks amazing and very shiny, not so much as a stone chip that I can see. Definitely screams the (50s - 60s look) For tunes she has a great sound system which has 2 (12' polk subs) (and 2 polk amps) with an additional 8 speakers. Her dash and gauges are beautiful as is the headliner and all other aspects. All of her pinch welds inner and outer rockers and weep holes are absolutely pristine! Odometer reads just over 28,000, actual mileage not known.
