1955 Chevrolet 3100 pickup truck. This truck build started as just a cab and frame over 6 years ago. Now its a reliable, fully built, all American hot rod. Extensive work has been done to make this a real adrenaline rush to drive, yet dependable. 95% original steel, only the tailgate and front bed panel were replaced. When building this truck, we tried to save as much original stuff as possible to restore. There are less than 4000 miles on this truck since completion, and the odometer is accurate. Here are some specifications and goodies that have gone into this truck- 5.7L 350 400 HP V8 crate engine; aggressive cam, headers, Vortec Sawtooth heads, Quick Fuel SS carb Muncie M22 Rock Crusher transmission; fully rebuilt with new gears, bearings, seals, and synchros Mustang II tubular independent front suspension with big disc brakes, drilled and slotted rotors 9 inch posi rear axle, completely rebuilt. New bearings, seals, brakes 4 link coilover rear suspension Dual 2.5 exhaust Factory short wheelbase frame, partially boxed for strength Factory style wheels, with Chevy car dog dish caps. Custom made wide wheels in the back All new brake lines, hoses, fuel lines, wiring, etc. Dual reservoir under floor corvette master cylinder All new interior- Kilmat insulation, new carpet, custom upholstery, factory gauges rebuilt/serviced and working, all new chrome knobs for the dash, factory radio modernized to run AM/FM/AUX, factory deluxe heater completely disassembled and restored with new core. Custom switch panel to control fuel pump, fan, and line lock. All lights work, interior and exterior. Paint/body completed in 2022 Now lets get a few things straight. This is a HOT ROD. That means theres no power steering, no power brakes, no air conditioning, and to roll the windows down you have to spin a weird little arm in circles. The bodywork is decent, but not perfect. Its not unsafe, but its not for the faint of heart; the manual brakes
