The glove compartment is missing the proper key. Odometer states 25,000 miles but is incorrect. Bit of history: Chevrolet had produced over two million trucks by the time World War Two began, which halted civilian vehicle production. In 1947 Chevrolet introduced their \'Advance Design\' for their light truck model line. An \'alligator\' hood concealed the engine while the horizontal grille bars completed the stylish appearance of a modern truck. The elegant design remained virtually unchanged from 1947 through 1954. In 1947, Chevrolet introduced their \'Advance-Design\' Series 3100 half-ton pickups featuring a new re-design that would carry the company into a new era of style and comfort. Few changes would be made through 1953. In the cabin was a bench seat that could accommodate three individuals, instead of the old separate seat setup. For the first time in the Chevy trucks, the seat was adjustable. The doors featured concealed hinges and extended down to cover the sills. The glass area was considerably larger, and the interiors were more colorful. They had \'four-fold ventilation\' through the easy-crank-downside windows, foot-operated floor vent, fresh-air inlet on the passenger side of the cowl, and a cowl-top ventilator. This particular 3100 has been meticulously maintained with pride of ownership. Owner just doesnt have the room to store any longer.
