Zoom Classic Cars presents this 1949 Mercury Monarch Custom Coupe. 25+ year old Custom build from Arkansas high end builder and owned by National Street Rod Association Representative for 20 years. This car started as a 4 Door Mercury and was modified into a 2 door Lead Sled by adding 4 inches to the length of the doors. Car was also chopped 4 inches, nosed, decked and has frenched dual power antennas. Door poppers with auxiliary switches mounted under side mirrors and underneath the car. Trunk release under as well. Features a 350CI Crate Engine with 4 Barrel Edelbrock carb and 200R4 Automatic Transmission with Overdrive. Car shows 91k on odometer but has only been driven 20k by current owner. Power Steering, Power Brakes with disc in front, Power Windows, Air Conditioning and Heat. Nice custom Midnight Blue Paint in overall very nice condition with a few imperfections including small ding on the driver\'s door and a couple of minor scratches shown behind the door as well a shown. Brown leather interior in overall great condition with console running from front to back and 4 cup holders. Some minor wear holes on driver\'s seat as shown. Beautiful 1958 Chrome Corvette Grille with extra teeth in very nice condition. V-butted windshield and one piece rear window with stainless straps. 3rd brake light added for safety. Functional Lake pipes that have been disconnected. New dual exhaust with chrome tips. Rides on Newer Diamondback wide white tires with Mercury hubcaps. Comes with Chrome Radiator guard.
