This stunning 1940 Ford Standard was professionally built to be driven and enjoyed. The 2-door sedan received a careful restoration (2010) that included a broad range of mechanical enhancements. A beautiful two-stage coat of Ford Black was professionally applied to the classic exterior and is in outstanding condition. All chrome is excellent and 15"" chrome wire wheels mount Epic/Solus radials. The stunning interior is well designed. It incorporates embossed burgundy leather upholstery, power seats and a full complement of analog gauges. Door cards, headliner and carpeting are also in excellent condition. Other features include A/C, power tinted windows, a custom wheel on a tilt column, cruise control and a raging Jensen AM/FM/Cassette sound system.
The detailed engine compartment houses a rebuilt 350ci Chevy motor - a small-block that sounds sweet and is very streetable. It is fitted with a single-plane aluminum intake, Edelbrock 4V carburetor and GM manifolds to free-flowing exhaust. The Chevy small-block is mated to a GM 3-speed TurboHydramatic transmission and all electrics have been upgraded to a 12V alternator configuration. The battery has also been relocated to the trunk. The solid chassis is fitted with front coils/sway bar, rack/pinion power steering and power disc/drum brakes. This handsome '40 Ford street rod truly needs to be seen and driven to be appreciated. Our indoor showroom is positioned on the southeast corner of the property with 60,000 square feet of sales floor space and storage. Our facility offers a high tech security system to keep your vehicle well protected and out of the elements.
As a means of continuing a close tie with classic car owners and enthusiasts, we offer a meeting room for car clubs and other groups to hold meetings, parties and other special events. Our space consists of 1,700 square feet set up with countertops, tables and chairs to handle your refreshment needs. We can also provide information on local catering services upon request. Call us to reserve a date and time. This space is offered free of charge upon approval of event.
