The 2021 Shelby Mustang GT500 KR is an exceptionally rare and powerful machine, and this particular example, #27 of only 60 produced for the model year, is now available for immediate purchase. Built on the foundation of the already formidable Ford Shelby Mustang GT500, the GT500 KR takes performance to the next level. Under the hood, the Shelby by Whipple Supercharger System pushes the engine to an astounding 900+ horsepower, paired with a high-volume intercooler and heat exchanger to ensure optimal performance. The open cold air intake system maximizes airflow, while the Shelby by Borla cat-back exhaust system delivers an aggressive, unmistakable roar. Handling is equally impressive, featuring ride-height adjustable front and rear springs, Ford Performance front and rear sway bars, MagneRide® suspension recalibration, and caster camber plates for precision driving. Also includes the Tremec 7-Speed Dual Clutch “TREMEC dual-clutch technology has transformed automated manual transmissions with the new TR-9070 DCT. The innovative transmission provides extreme performance with 900 Nm torque capacity and lightning fast shift transitions as fast as 80 milliseconds.”

Visually, the GT500 KR is both aggressive and functional, with extensive use of carbon fiber to enhance aerodynamics and reduce weight. The dry carbon fiber hood includes functional evacuation air vents, a hood strut system, and the distinctive “SHELBY” hood lock housing. Additional carbon fiber components, such as the front splitter, rear diffuser, and Gurney flap, contribute to its high-performance design. This KR also features Shelby rocker stripes.

Inside, the cabin is upgraded with premium leather seat recovers, embroidered Shelby floor mats, and a CSM-numbered engine and dash plate, ensuring authenticity and exclusivity. The wheels are equally impressive, featuring one-piece 6061-T6 forged aluminum construction in a polished or gloss black finish, measuring 20×11 inches in the front and 20×11.5 inches in the rear.
