  • dgiorgi says:

Hi, what is the rear gear ratio’s? If this truck was born with a four speed automatic ( probably a 700 R4) that means it had an overdrive forth gear. Now that it is a four speed manual trans, which looks like all original parts were used, because I owned an 86 K series short bed like this with an original four speed, I am curious what kind of milage I can expect without the overdrive auto trans. How is the Air? Does it ever need recharging? Nice truck and a very nice conversion to 4 speed too. Thanks in advance, David.

    • Scoobydoo1 says:

Thank you. This is a very nice truck. I am not sure about the reared but it is high enough for descent gas mileage. Thank you for your interest in my truck.

    • dgiorgi says:

Hi again, on the identification tag where is shows your truck was born with an automatic it list the axel ratio, however, that part of the photo is cut off. Can you post a picture of the complete service tag showing the option and codes for the truck? Does the air ever need recharging and does it use R12 refrigerant. Thanks in advance, Dave.

    • Scoobydoo1 says:

I will see if I can get a better picture. I have never had to recharge the air since I have had it for five or six years
      Thank you

    • Scoobydoo1 says:

I sent a new picture in. Should be on the auction in a bit
      Thanks

    • dgiorgi says:
