In the beginning of the video you stated it is pretty much original but from what I can see from the pics, its been mostly refinished at some point in its life. Definitely been repainted at least once. The woodgrain and woodgrain trim has been replaced as well as the carpet and seat material. Can you elaborate on that like how long ago was it done? Do you have any photos of it before the work was done and/or receipts for it. Where are those rust blisters you are pointing out in the last few photos? Is that along the windshield?

Also, I hear a ticking noise from the engine. Is that a exh manifold leak or a lifter? Has any work been done to the engine? You are correct in that the original engine should be an AMC 360 and from at least the outside it appears to be.

i dont beleive the whole truck has been painted , i know it has had some paint work at some point in its life , has far as the woodgrain on the sides and the seats they look like the original material to me ,but i am no jeep wagoneer expert . what you see in the pictures is how we received the truck , the blisters pointed out are by the rear driverside window …..we have receipts from 2017 for aprox. $3500.00,,,motor work rebuilt carb. vacume hoes. plugs , wires , A/C, ect …also orignal window sticker ,books manuals ……no ticking in the motor its the small microphone on the camera ….thanks for your interest FYI one with 35k miles sold on Bring a trailer for $111,000 .00 last week

Thanks for the reply. Yes, that one on Bring A Trailer was an exceptional and original low mileage 83 Limited. Somewhat of a unicorn in the wagoneer world to find one like that and the most I’ve seen a pre last gen model go for. If you look at the carpet and seats of that one, you can see the difference in original material and the aftermarket which this on has. The factory carpet AMC used on these wagoneers was more of a shag style as well as what they used on the seats. The aftermarket stuff from places like ACC and Legendary is more of a cut pile like what this one has. It looks like who ever did it did a nice job.

So no noises coming from the engine, that was just microphone noise I was hearing.
