1981 Chevrolet Corvette
This third-generation C3 Corvette is equipped with factory flared fenders, retractable headlamps and integrated rear spoiler. Dual factory mirrors feature housings color-matched to the car’s body.
Slotted factory 15 inch wheels with new center caps and new Prowler tires. Power is supplied by the 350 ci V8 and channeled through a 3 speed automatic transmission. Finished in beige with body color T-tops.
The interior is factory Rust color: reupholstered and re-carpeted with tilt & telescopic steering wheel. The five-instrument center cluster is black with all functioning gauges including coolant temperature, fuel level, oil temperature, oil pressure & voltage.
Factory working 7K rpm tachometer. 5-digit odometer shows 22,500 miles so true mileage unknown as it may have rolled over being 40 years old. A new Pioneer stereo with bluetooth has replaced the original Delco radio.
The A/C controls are located in the center console, but the system is non-operational though the compressor turns freely. There are a few stains under the glove box door and interior passenger door as noted in the photos.
The Corvette left the factory with an independent front suspension with coil springs and a stabilizer bar. Independent rear suspension is paired with a fiberglass-reinforced composite single leaf spring.
New installation of several replacement parts such as new headlight actuators, window motors, hvac blower motor, brakes & brake calipers, updated brake lines, LED taillights and more. Newer exhaust system with turn down finishers.
The paint job is less than a year old and shows very well. All panels from front to rear have no chips, flaking or damage. Engine compartment has not been detailed hiding nothing. Not a Concourse Show Car but a very nice driver & priced accordingly. Clean Carfax & Title
