This 1971 Chevrolet El Camino SS is finished in orange over black vinyl and powered by a 402ci V8 paired with a three-speed Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission. Features include power steering, power-assisted front disc brakes, 15-inch American Racing SS wheels, and a Pioneer CD stereo. The seller acquired the truck in 2018, with subsequent work including a PerTronix ignition system and replacement of the distributor, battery, and fan clutch. It is now offered with a clean title in the seller’s name.

Originally finished in Burnt Orange from the factory, the El Camino was refinished under previous ownership. Exterior details include locking hood pins, a drop-down tailgate, and chrome bumpers and trim. Paint chips are present, and the windshield wipers operate slowly. Snaps for a tonneau cover are installed, but no cover is included.

The 15-inch American Racing SS wheels are wrapped in 245/50 Dunlop tires. The truck is equipped with power steering, though a leak is noted. Stopping power comes from power-assisted front disc brakes.

Inside, the bench seat was reupholstered in black vinyl in 2024, complemented by a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpeting. Interior features include a Pioneer CD stereo, lap belts, and headrests. The air conditioning, heater, and side speakers are inoperative, and signs of wear and fading are visible on interior surfaces. The dashboard houses a 120-mph speedometer and a fuel-level gauge, while an Autogage tachometer and oil pressure and coolant temperature gauges are mounted below the dash. The five-digit odometer reads 16k miles, with approximately 1,500 miles added by the previous owner; total mileage is unknown.

The 402ci V8 is equipped with a four-barrel carburetor, a PerTronix electronic ignition system, and a replacement distributor installed in 2018. The fan clutch was replaced in 2020. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission.
