1970 Plymouth GTX – this beautifully restored muscle car is a standout example of one of the most iconic Mopars ever built. With its matching-numbers 440 engine and factory Lemon Twist paint, it delivers both classic curb appeal and serious performance. If you’re after a legendary American muscle car, this GTX deserves a spot on your shortlist.

Starting with the exterior, the body is in excellent condition with straight panels and sharp body lines. The factory-correct Lemon Twist yellow paint has been redone in base coat/clear coat, then wet sanded and polished to a mirror-like finish. Black factory-option stripes add the perfect contrast, and all chrome and trim—from the front and rear bumpers to the drip rail moldings—shine brilliantly. The glass fits well, and all seals and weather stripping are in great shape. It rides on Magnum 500 wheels wrapped in Firestone Wide Oval white letter tires for that authentic muscle car stance.

Inside, the GTX features a classic black interior with wood grain accents. It comes with bucket seats, a center console, and the iconic four-speed pistol grip shifter. The seat covers, carpet, headliner, and door panels are all in great shape. The dash is clean and well-preserved with a nice fit, and it houses all original gauges in excellent condition. The radio has been upgraded to a retro-style digital unit. In the trunk, everything is solid and neatly detailed with a new mat.

Under the hood sits the original, matching-numbers 440 cubic inch V8, equipped with a factory intake and four-barrel carburetor. It’s dressed in the correct factory valve covers and air cleaner. This GTX has power steering and drum brakes on all four wheels. Exhaust flows through factory manifolds into a new dual exhaust system with fresh mufflers. The engine is paired to the numbers-matching 4-speed manual transmission, connected to a Dana rear end with Sure Grip and 3.54 gears—this is a true A33 Track Pack car. Underneath, the frame and floors are rock solid. A new gas tank and fuel lines have been installed, and the suspension is in excellent condition with new end link bushings.

On the road, the 440 delivers strong, smooth power, and the four-speed transmission shifts with confidence. This car runs and drives just as good as it looks. Don’t miss your chance to own a true piece of American muscle car history.
